Can I get a Handicap with the AGP Tour? What do I need to do?

Yes, members can be issued with an official Golf Australia Handicap.
To receive a handicap, you will need to submit three (3) scorecards signed by someone with an existing Golf Link number.
Alternatively, you will receive an official Golf Australia Handicap after your first 3 AGP events.

What can I do with my Handicap?

With your Golf Australia Handicap, you will be able to enter public competitions, play special events, participate for prizes at golf events.

How do I claim my $300 golf voucher?

We provide a one-time $300 golf voucher on the successful payment of your membership.
Your golf voucher is redeemed at a rate of $30 per event, paid out after each of your first ten (10) AGP Events.

How does an AGP Tour event work?

Event registration covers Green Fees plus a contribution to the Prize Pool.
Golfers will compete in an 18-hole competition for “AGP Points”.
Points will be allocated to the top 70 players, based on their final leaderboard position, using a distribution formula similar to a professional tour. For example, 1st Place = 18% of the pool, 2nd Place = 10.8% of the pool etc.
Points earned are converted to an AUD amount on a 1-to-1 basis and credited to your club account for future use.
Our business policy is to refund all club accounts that reflect a credit balance via EFT.

Does the AGP Tour have divisions?

Yes!
A Members Division is reserved for subscribed (paying members), where the prize pool is increased by a share of everyone's Membership Fee.
A Non-Member Division is reserved for all guests, where the prize pool is limited by contributions for the current event only.

Why do I have to pay to join the AGP Tour?

All businesses require minimum funding to operate.
Your membership fees are used for certain basic expenses such as Software, Website, Marketing, Affiliation Fees etc.
The balance of your membership fee is pooled and allocated to 12 main flagship events each year. Therefore increasing the prize money available at those events.
The size of the prize will be directly correlated to our membership base. Help us grow by spreading the word.
